KRLQ in Ruston, Louisiana, is asking listeners to donate money to help President Trump build a border wall. The station tells the local TV station over 100 people called asking how they could help make borders stronger, so the station responded with their “Build the Wall” fundraiser.
Station manager Bill Brown tells Channel 8 that the station came up with an idea of taking a barrel and letting people come by and drop money in it. “We call it the Build the Wall fund and you drop bucks in the barrel.” In three weeks, almost $2,500 has been collected.
