97.3 FM The Fan morning host Dan Sileo has a “Pet Project”; helping San Diego area animal shelters. Working with Kahoots Pet Stores, Sileo raised more than a ton of pet food last week.
As part of Dan Sileo’s Pet Projects, listeners purchased pet food at Kahoots locations and Kahoots matched the purchases, pound for pound. The 2,150 pounds of food will benefit the San Diego Animal Support Foundation. The group works with 30 different animal rescue organizations and shelters in San Diego and Southern California.
“We are an animal friendly show,” said Sileo. “It’s the one thing that means a lot to me outside of sports that my show does. I have always had a great passion for it.”
