ABC Radio has announced a full slate of end-of-year programming, including five long-form programs featuring top news stories and interviews, major events, and more from the past year; eight short-form series that focus on topics including news, politics, entertainment, sports, and technology; and two music specials, 2018 Rewind: The Biggest Country Hits of the Year, hosted by country star Morgan Evans, and Rock and Roll Christmas Playlist, hosted by ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons.

Long-Form Programs:
- Journeys of Faith features the most memorable moments from ABC News Senior National Correspondent Paula Faris’ popular podcast Journeys of Faith with Paula Faris.
- Playback 2018 is a one-hour special anchored by ABC News correspondents Cheri Preston and Aaron Katersky featuring an in-depth look at the biggest stories of the year.
- 2018: As It Happened is a three-hour retrospective of some of 2018’s top stories.
- Perspective is a special year-end edition of ABC News’ award-winning weekly newsmagazine.
- World News This Year takes a look back at the major news events of the past year in 2018’s final edition of this weekly show.
Short-Form Series:
- 2018 in Review takes a look back at the biggest stories of 2018 including the mass shootings at high schools in Parkland, Florida and Santa Fe, Texas; a synagogue in Pittsburgh; and a college bar in California. Also, the Austin bombings, the cave rescue in Thailand, a missile strike in Syria and more.
- 2018 in Sports features the biggest sports stories of the year and the athletes behind them including the Super Bowl, World Series, World Cup, the comebacks of Serena Williams and Tiger Woods and more.
- 2018 in Entertainment features the headline-grabbers, including this year’s relationships, breakups, scandals and more.
- 2018 in Politics looks at the biggest political stories in another busy year for President Donald Trump including the North Korea Summit, two new Supreme Court justices, the midterm elections and more.
- Tech Trends 2018 explores which tech trends succeeded, which ones failed, and how technology continues to change our daily lives.
- Health Trends 2018 features ABC News Chief Medical Correspondent Dr. Jennifer Ashton who discusses the biggest health-related breakthroughs and takeaways from 2018.
- Law & Justice 2018 In Review takes a look back at some of the most important and interesting court cases and judicial action from 2018, including the Bill Cosby and Larry Nassar court cases, the Supreme Court travel ban ruling, and the Russia investigation.
- 2018 Year-End Tax Tips is a helpful guide to year-end financial and tax planning.
ABC Radio will also provide two music specials. Its country music special, 2018 Rewind: The Biggest Country Hits of the Year, will be hosted by country star Morgan Evans and take a look back on the top songs of 2018. ABC Radio’s rock music special, Rock and Roll Christmas Playlist, will be hosted by ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons and takes listeners on a ride through favorite classic rock holiday hits.
