Deluge Of Bikes Donated For Kids

1

WQNU/Louisville (Q103) and Dingo In The Morning collected over 2,500 bikes during Bikes or Bust 2018, beating last year’s total by over 500 bikes. All bikes collected were donated to the Salvation Army and Toys For Tots to help kids in Kentuckiana have a merry Christmas. Dingo lived on a scissor lift 40 feet in the air over four days from November 15-18 in Kentucky, while Magic Mike did the same thing in Indiana, despite freezing temperatures and winter weather.

“The power of radio is alive and well, so use it to make a difference!” said Dingo. “We often promote charitable events but sometimes you have to get off the sidelines and get into the game. This was a win for the kids, the listeners who got involved, and for anyone who drove by and saw the love and compassion that we have in Kentuckiana.”

Over the past three years, Dingo and Q103 have collected over 6,000 bikes for underprivileged children in Kentucky and Indiana.

  1. Way to go, Dingo! Summit Media Louisville Rocks! I was talking to my colleagues here in Reno about this and I’m so happy for you and the lives that these bikes will touch.
