Radio is stepping up to take the snap for charity again.

Entercom and the Philadelphia Eagles announced, Thursday, the launch of its annual “Eagles Radiothon.” The multi-day auction will offer fans the opportunity to bid on exclusive sports and entertainment experiences, with all proceeds benefitting the Eagles Charitable Foundation’s commitment to free, comprehensive vision care for underserved youth, and groundbreaking autism research and services. The auction kicked off on Thursday, August 30 and will be broadcast on SportsRadio 94WIP (WIP-FM) in Philadelphia on Tuesday, September 4 and Wednesday, September 5.

“Like the Eagles, the Eagles Charitable Foundation has been an important piece of this community for years,” said David Yadgaroff, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Entercom Philadelphia. “We’re honored to be able to play a role in the ECF’s efforts in improving the lives of underserved children in the greater Philadelphia area, and we’re so proud to be a part of this transformational initiative.”

Highlights of the auction include one-of-a-kind sporting experiences, such as a personal passing clinic with Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz, a trip to Super Bowl LIII and a round of golf with Eagles Hall of Fame and SportsRadio 94WIP radio broadcaster Merrill Reese, among others. Fans can bid online or via call-in to SportsRadio 94WIP’s phone bank during weekday programming, “Angelo Cataldi and the Morning Team,” “Joe DeCamara & Jon Ritchie,” and “Jon Marks & Ike Reese” on September 4 and 5.
