Cumulus Divesting Four Stations As Part Of Bankruptcy

The stations are WNUQ-FM in Albany, GA, KJMO-FM in Columbia, MO, WPCK-FM in Green Bay and WTOD-FM in Toledo. The stations will be put into a trust until they are sold.  The reason they are being moved, according to an FCC filing, is because Cumulus currently holds a “grandfathered attributable interest in more radio stations than is permitted under the Commission’s local radio ownership rules in those four markets.” And, with the change of control following the bankruptcy, they must be sold to comply with the FCC’s ownership rules.
