The Chairman said he was willing to step down as chairman at the FCC if it lead to the Senate confirming Commissioner Rosenworcel for another term. She’s been in limbo for about a year now, serving on the Commission unconfirmed. The Hill reported Wheeler’s plan to step down but it looks unlikely to happen for Rosenworcel as the Senate has wrapped up its business for the holidays without voting on her nomination.
