Vreeland Leaving WBAZ Long Island

Walker Vreeland has been on the air with the Long Island Radio Broadcasting station for over 10 years. Vreeland will be leaving WBAZ-FM to relocate to New York City where he’ll produce his autobiographical monologue From Ship to Shape, continue his voiceover work, and podcast.

Vreeland decided months ago to make the move for both professional and personal reasons. “I am so grateful to have spent the last nine years on WBAZ, and the last 10 years working for Long Island Radio Broadcasting. I am indebted to Lauren Stone, Stephanie Bitis, and Harry Wareing for this invaluable opportunity. But most important, I want to thank the listeners for sticking with me all these years.”
