The Vacaville, CA, station raised $34,000 with their 13th Annual “Hope Begins with a Meal” radiothon on November 17. That translates to over 19,000 meals for the needy. The radiothon supports Mission Solano in Fairfield, CA, a local rescue mission serving the homeless and poverty stricken. In addition to food, the mission provides emergency shelter, long-term residential, and special programs for veterans.
