Mayor Joins WTMJ Mid-Afternoon Team
Steve Scaffidi will team with WTMJ News Executive Producer Erik Bilstad to form Scaffidi & Bilstad, which will air weekdays noon to 3 p.m. Scaffidi has resigned as mayor of Oak Creek, Wisconsin, and his position at a P.R. firm to join the station. The show debuts Tuesday.
New Host For The Current
Minnesota Public Radio "The Current" has hired Ayisha Jaffer as a new host. Jaffer joins the station as an evening host from WNXP in Nashville where she hosted middays and served as Assistant Program Director.

Detroit’s News/Talk 760 WJR-AM will debut a new daily sports feature Monday: Eli Zaret’s After Further Review, will air weekdays at 4:36 p.m. on The Guy Gordon Show, which is broadcast from 3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. on 760 WJR-AM.

Veteran sports reporter and anchor Carol Maloney will join ESPN 630/Washington, DC, as host of The Carol Maloney Show, starting August 6. The show will feature commentary, guests, listener call-ins, and contributions from ESPN 630’s Andy Pollin.
Las Vegas Has Its Roxy
Las Vegas Hip Hip/R&B station REAL 103.9, has a new APD and MD: the exotically named Roxy Romeo. Romeo is currently the 10 a.m.to 3 p.m. personality with the station and she’ll retain that role as well. REAL features artists like Drake, Future, Chris Brown, J Cole, and Migos.
