The Bert Show officially introduced the newest member of their nationally syndicated morning radio show, Brian Moote. Moote joins existing hosts Bert Weiss and Kristin Klingshirn weekdays from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. EST in over 17 markets.

Sports Radio 104.3 The Fan (KKFN-FM) Program Director Armen Williams announced Friday that Mark Schlereth will be joining Mike Evans to host Schlereth and Evans, weekdays from 6 a.m.-9 a.m. on Sports Radio 104.3 The Fan, beginning Monday, January 25, 2016.

Congratulations to Neuhoff Media CEO Beth Neuhoff for taking home the 2016 Vincent T. Wasilewski Broadcaster of the Year award from the Illinois Broadcasters Association last night. Neuhoff was on hand to accept the award as members of her team cheered her on. The event, which included a "Training Camp" for radio and digital media sellers was held in Champaign.

The Washington Post has the details regarding the arrest of syndicated host Peter Deibler, also known as Kane on The Kane Show. He was arrested in Maryland, Friday, after his wife accused him of second-degree assault. Deibler and his wife are in the middle of a nasty divorce, some of the details making their way onto Kane's radio show.

Guy Gordon will host a new afternoon talk show from 3-5 p.m. on WJR in Detroit starting January 3. Gordon has been in TV news in Detroit for over 30 years. Gordon's show replaces The Michael Savage Show.

Cumulus Media announces that popular radio personality Shila Nathan will sign on as host of Middays on WNSH/NASH 94.7 New York. Shila debuts on NASH FM 94.7 New York on Monday, February 8, from 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

Robert J. Lind, 62, died unexpectedly in his sleep on Monday at his home in Raleigh. Lind was a very successful broadcaster, but he also founded the radiothon division at Children's Miracle Network. In his 10 years with CMN, he and his team launched hundreds of radiothons across the U.S., Canada, and around the world. iHeartMedia Tampa Bay announced Monday that JP Peterson will now co-host the iRon and JP Show on 620 WDAE, Tampa Bay's Sports Radio, effective immediately.

Jade Alexander has spent 25 years in broadcasting in South Florida and will now host mid-days on Entercom's 102.7 The Beach. Entercom has started adding personalities to the station after launching a rebrand earlier this month. Kenny Walker was hired to host mornings and now comes the addition of Alexander.

Real 92.3’s star jock Big Boy announced Monday that the station’s second annual major concert event, “The Real Show,” will take place at The Forum in Inglewood on Saturday, November 5. Acts will include Usher, Bryson Tiller, Kid Ink, Desiigner, Belly, and Kap G, with more artists to be announced in coming weeks.
