In February, the Broadcasters Foundation of America announced that CBS Radio CEO Scott Herman was a recipient of a 2016 Ward L. Quaal Leadership Award. Herman received his award during the NAB Show in Las Vegas this week. Rick Daniels has taken up duties as on-air Host of Afternoon Drive at NASH FM 97.9 in Boise, ID. Daniels’ new show airs weekdays from 2-7 p.m. and debuted Tuesday, April 20.

Yahoo! Sports Radio has announced that Pro Football Weekly Radio is returning to the airwaves this Saturday night. The program will be co-hosted by Lewis Woodard and air Saturdays, 11 p.m.-1 a.m. ET.

Jonathan Brewster is the new CEO of Cherry Creek Radio, taking over for Joe Scwhartz who resigned in February after 14 years with the company. Brewster's experience is in small and mid-sized markets having formerly served as SVP of Qantum Communications. Cherry Creek has 53 radio stations in 11 markets in the Rocky Mountain region.
