Las Cruces Market Drops Nielsen, Adds Eastlan

Adams Radio Group and Bravo Mic Communications have chosen Eastlan for the Las Cruces NM market. Adams Radio CEO Ron Stone said “We believe we will see more consistency from book to book versus what has been very unstable ratings in Las Cruces with the old service. Additionally, we see this partnership as one likely to grow into our other markets as current agreements expire.”

Bravo GM Michael Smith added, “Eastlan Ratings listened to our concerns, was able to provide a solution and a value proposition, making the choice easy. Many companies and individuals fear change and we at Bravo Mic Communications are excited to be moving to a new vendor for radio listener metrics.”

“Radio broadcasters continue to tell us our painstaking focus on providing a credible and affordable audience measurement tool, based largely on a single respondent per household methodology, makes a whole of sense, said Eastlan Ratings President/CEO Mike Gould. “Especially at a time when the largest radio ratings vendor is dealing with how to explain the benefit of an expensive methodology that can include up to 16 participants per household.” Las Cruces joins Charleston WV and Dyersburg TN as new Eastlan markets this Fall.
