The Conclave Learning Conference set for July 14 and 15 in Minneapolis will feature Hubbard CEO Ginny Morris (pictured), Beasley CFO Caroline Beasley, CBS Radio SVP Programming Jim Ryan, iHeartMedia President for LA Kevin LeGrett, Cumulus SVP Gary Pizatti, Cox Media Group RVP Susan Larkin, plus a luncheon with former CBS Radio CEO Dan Mason.

The L.A. Dodgers and Univision have renewed their Spanish-language radio broadcast deal, which will keep the games airing on KTNQ-AM 1020 in L.A. through the 2018 baseball season. KTNQ will air eight spring trainnig games, the 162-game regular season, and any postseason games. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The SAVE KPLU campaign needs to raise $7 million by June 30, which matches the amount of the current deal between Pacific Lutheran University and the University of Washington. If the money is raised, KPLU-FM in Seattle will become an independent, community-licensed station. The community group Friends of 88-5 FM is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.

The deadline for the Radio Mercury Awards has been extended by a week. The new deadline is April 27.

The 3rd Annual Y100 St. Jude Jam features five artists, each one with a great story, on April 19th at 7pm at the Meyer Theatre in downtown Green Bay.

AE's Kelwynn Napoleon and Rachel Adams are now LSMs for Cumulus in New Orleans where the company has four stations. Napoleon (pictured) joined Cumulus-New Orleans seven years ago as an AE. Adams joins Cumulus from Entercom-New Orleans, where she was the National Director of eCommerce and Digital Sales.

Tony Tilford is the new Director of Rock Programming for iHeartMedia's Kentucky-Indiana region. He'll begin his new duties May 1, which will include overseeing WQMF-FM and WTFX-FM in Louisville. Tilford most recently served as Regional SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia’s Southwest Ohio-Indiana region.

Alpha Media, Watertown, SD, has held its 16th Annual Children’s Miracle Network Radiothon April 14 and 15 and raised an impressive $81,073.

Tanner Kloven is the new midday host on CBS Radio's KVIL in Dallas. Kloven replaces Sybil Summers, who began co-hosting 103.7 KVIL’s More Music Mornings with Kannon on April 1.

Global Security Systems announced at the NAB Show in Las Vegas that the NextRadio app team will review ways to interconnect with GSS’s ALERT FM emergency notification system to provide users with federal, state, and/or local information during the event of a man-made or natural disaster. This new feature is scheduled to be available to NextRadio users later this year.
