New Podcast From The UFC On DGital Media
The UFC has entered into a partnership with DGital Media to launch a new podcast called, UFC Unfiltered with Jim Norton and Matt Serra. Norton is a comedian, author, and actor, and Serra is the former UFC welterweight champ. The series debuts June 21 and there will be two new episodes every week.

Seventeen-year NBA vet Jason “The Jet” Terry has landed his on weekly show on SiriusXM’s 24/7 NBA Channel. The former Houston Rockets star gets his start Wednesday, June 1, in the 7-8 p.m. slot, just in time for the NBA finals.
Bowen to Receive President’s Award
On Tuesday, the Country Radio Broadcasters announced Carole Bowen will receive the 2016 President’s Award. Bowen has been a CRB Board member for 15 years. During that time, she was a member of the board’s Executive Committee, holding an officer position as longtime secretary for the organization.
Gentry To Run Louisville For Alpha
Bill Gentry will take over running Alpha's Louisville market, which includes WDJX-FM, WGHL-FM, WGZB-FM, WMJM-FM, and WXMA-FM. Most recently, the 30-year radio vet was a Regional Market President for Clear Channel/iHeart. He's from Kentucky and has lived in Louisville for many years.

According to The Tyler Morning Telegraph, Waller Broadcasting's KLJT-KFRO morning man, Patrick "Brain" Aguirre has been arrested on drug and organized crimes charges.
iHeartMedia Launches Hip Hop in San Diego.
Late last week, iHeartMedia San Diego flipped KSSX-FM from Rhythmic Adult Contemporary to JAM’N 95.7, to focus the music more on Today’s Hip Hop and R&B. The station relaunched commercial free through Monday.

KRRF in Ventura County, California kicked off Memorial Day Weekend by flipping from Country to Classic Hip-Hop. The station is called "106.3 SPIN-FM."

Twin Cities Radio Personality Ron Rosenbaum Dies
Rosenbaum died Sunday at his St. Paul home, due to complications from cancer. Rosenbaum, who was also an attorney, was a regular on The Dan Barreiro Show. He also hosted the Holding Court radio show from 1998 to 2006.
