The provider of commercial and program delivery services has moved into larger digs and added radio veteran Trent Muldrow to the team. Muldrow will provide technical support, training, and installations for the company’s AIM and MediaShooterPro softwares.

The company has announced that radio industry veteran Paul Shulins has been hired as Vice President Chief Technology Officer. Shulins served as Director of Technical Operations for Greater Media Boston for the past 28 years after starting his career as a Radio Chief Engineer

Cox Media Group in Atlanta has partnered with WSB-TV, The Atlanta Journal Constitution for a “Convoy of Care.” This week this group of media stars filled an entire semi-truck with bottled water and are sending it to Houston. Listeners and viewers packed the truck in just 10 hours. The response was so huge that the group is doing it for a second time this week.

Could this be a sign of a possible run for higher political office? FCC Chairman Ajit Pai will be heading to Texas, Tuesday, to inspect the damage caused by Hurricane Harvey and meet with those engaged in recovery efforts. Pai said, “Working in close coordination with the Department of Homeland Security, the FCC will do everything it can to help restore communications services after this terrible storm."

In keeping with the general benevolence of the radio industry, Scripps Media in Springfield, MO. raised $7,151 for Hurricane Harvey victims. KTTS, KSGF, KSPW, and KRVI were at the Battlefield Mall on Wednesday, August 30, 6-9 a.m., collecting donations for Convoy of Hope, based in Springfield.

Mid-West Family Broadcasting in Springfield is partnering with Sinclair Broadcasting's TV stations to raise funds and supplies for victims of Hurricane Harvey in Texas and the Gulf Coast region.

Beasley’s B103.9, 96KRock, and Sunny 106.3 will be partnering with the local chapter of the American Red Cross to collect donations during a special “MUSICTHON” to benefit those impacted by Hurricane Harvey. Beginning at 6 a.m. the stations will broadcast live and stay on the air to play special song requests for donations.

Ruth Presslaff's e-mail marketing company has been purchased by Second Street, a company that provides private-label online audience engagement and interactive content platforms to media companies, including contesting, quizzes, ballots, polls, and e-mail communications. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Presslaff is staying on with the new company. She is pictured here with Second Street co-founders Matt Coen (left) and Doug Villhard.
