Scotty And Bret Show Kindness To Fallen Officer’s Family
They call it "93 Days of Kindness," but you get the idea that Scotty and Bret, hosts of Cumulus Media-Dallas-Fort Worth's Hot 93.3 morning show, Scotty K and Bret Mega Mornings, would be kind all year round. The guys teamed up last Wednesday with the Dallas Fallen Officers Fund to do their part in honoring Officer Mark McCullers, a Southern Methodist University police officer, father of six children, and former U.S. Marine, who tragically lost his life in the DFW-area flash floods last August.

Remote News Service Joins Maryland News Network
Remote News Service has signed the Maryland News Network, “The Voice of Maryland,” to deliver news content to 14 stations in markets including Frederick, Myersville, and Salisbury. The deal brings RNS' hyper-localized news content to a total of 62 stations across the U.S. through imaging company Benztown.

Busted in Boston
The FCC continued its crackdown on pirates, announcing two more were found on Friday. Davina Mendes was caught operating a pirate radio station weekdays from 3-5 pm at 87.7 in Boston from a business building at 616 Blue Hill Ave. And Talya Andrea Lantz was cited for hosting a morning show at 101.3 in Boston from that same location. Both must end their broadcasts immediately and have ten days to respond the The FCC.
No Strike at NPR
That's after a last-minute "tentative deal" was struck with SAG-AFTRA. Contract talks began April 27 and a federal mediator was called in. Legendary Sportscaster Bob Wolfe Dies
Wolfe called baseball games for both radio and TV. He began his career calling Washington Senators games and in 1962 worked NBC's Game of the Week. He is the only sportscaster to call play-by-play for championships in each of the four major sports.
