Chicago Radio Stations Are At It Again

They are getting together to highlight the success a local advertiser has been having using radio. Over 40 stations in Chicago will simultaneously air a 60-second interview with Roy Spencer, President and owner of Perma-Seal Basement Systems discussing how radio is a primary advertising avenue for reaching customers. The interview airs Tuesday at 4:29 p.m.

Spencer says he’s used radio for over 30 years because it provides intimacy, flexibility, variety, and consistency. “Radio listeners develop an affinity with the stations and on-air personalities, and in turn the advertisers.”

In 2017, the RBC simultaneously aired a 60-second interview with Bob Rohrman, President and Chief Operating Officer of Bob Rohrman Auto Group; John Alfirevich, Dealer Operator of Apple Chevrolet and President of the Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana Chevy Dealers Association; and Ed Wehmer, founder, President and CEO of Wintrust Financial Corporation on 40 Chicagoland radio stations.

“Perma-Seal is a terrific partner of the Chicago radio industry,” said Matt Scarano, Chairman of Illinois Broadcasters Association’s Radio Broadcasters of Chicagoland (RBC) Committee. “I am elated that we can promote their services and highlight the results they have experienced with radio advertising.“

“Mr. Spencer’s personal endorsement for local radio as an effective medium for advertising Perma-Seal’s unique services speak volumes about local radio,” said Dennis Lyle, President & CEO of Illinois Broadcasters Association. Lyle added, “It’s always great to hear first-hand from yet another satisfied local radio customer.”
