(by Ron Robinson) For those who may not have been involved at the time, it may come as somewhat of a surprise to learn that radio started down the wrong track as early as the late ‘70s and early ‘80s – years before the consolidating clown-crews floundered in with their big, red noses, fright wigs, floppy shoes, and overwhelming arrogance.

There will be a lot of translator buying and selling in the news now that the FCC has opened its window. The trustees at Indiana University have agreed to sell the construction permits for three FM Translators to non-profit Kentucky River Broadcasting for $110,000.
