(By Randy Lane) There have already been several format flips in the Entercom and CBS merger, and with change comes opportunity for talented air personalities. Whether you’re looking to move up, or you’ve been moved out in a downsize, here’s a checklist for putting together your job application package.

November 18 marks the second official Day of Civility in Massachusetts. Governor Charlie Baker will issue a special proclamation to commemorate the event, which will be read during Opening Ceremonies of the Thanksgiving Day Parade, Plymouth, Massachusetts.

With the end of the Mike and Mike morning show after 18 years, ESPN Radio will debut a new lineup January 2, 2018 and feature a national broadcast of The Stephen A. Smith Show on terrestrial radio stations across the country. Three new shows have been announced.

Bonneville has promoted “Jazzy” Jim Archer as Program Director for 99.7 Now KMVQ-FM/San Francisco.  Archer has served as KMVQ's APD and Music Director since 2011. He was also PD of KYLD/San Francisco from 2005 to 2008.

Bob Richards has been named VP/Market Manager of Emmis Indianapolis, which includes 1070 The Fan, B105.7, 93 WIBC, and 97.1 Hank FM. Meanwhile, Taja Graham, currently DOS for Music for the Emmis Indianapolis cluster, has been promoted to VP/Director of Sales for the cluster.

WJMK-FM is now "The New 104.3 JAMS, Chicago’s #1 for Throwbacks." The previous format was Classic Hits. To kick off the new format, the station is airing 10,000 songs in a row.

Beasley Broadcast Group’s  93.3 WMMR-FM will officially unveil Preston & Steve’s Totally Office Calendar 2018, featuring 12 of Preston & Steve’s most beautiful listeners, on Friday, November 17 at 7 p.m. at Chickie's and Pete's, 1526 Packer Avenue, (South) Philadelphia

WMGK-FM morning personality John DeBella celebrated his 35th Anniversary on the Philadelphia airwaves on Thursday, November 16. During that time, DeBella has dedicated himself to serving the community.

Entercom makes a big move in a big market as its merger with CBS Radio closes, flipping Top 40 92.3 AMP Radio to Alternative as ALT 92.3. ALT debutes with 10,000 songs commercial-free; the station is also streaming at alt923radio.com.
