JVC Media of Florida has enlisted the services of sales veteran Lisa Kitchener for General Sales Manager duties at JVC’s Orlando cluster, including 103.1 The Wolf (WOTW — Country) and Bud 94.1 (WOTW-HD2/W231CT — Mainstream Rock). Kitchener has 25 years experience.

Tonight ABC's 20/20 will air a segment on the 2012 murder of Atlantic County radio host April Kauffman. Investigators say Kauffman's death was connected to a prescription drug ring that involved her husband, Dr. James Kauffman, and members of the Pagans motorcycle gang.

Beasley Media is flipping formats on a translator in Las Vegas at 101.5. The station will now carry a Talk format (The New 101.5FM/720AM The Talk of Las Vegas), replacing AC (Lite 101.5 FM). The translator will be a simulcast of KDWN-AM. Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, and Mark Levin are heard on the station along with Oakland Raiders games.

The NAB Education Foundation, in partnership with the Broadcast Education Association, will host a career fair, September 27, Noon-3 p.m. at the 2018 Radio Show. The Radio Show will be held September 25-28 at the Hilton Bonnet Creek and the Waldorf-Astoria Orlando.
