We learned on Friday that Curtis Media Group's WQDR PD Lisa McKay would be taking an indefinite leave of absence to battle cancer. Sunday morning she passed away. McKay was only 54.

Westwood One recently promoted four Affiliate Sales Directors to Vice-President, Affiliate Sales: Neal Bird (Los Angeles/Music-Entertainment), Rich Burg (New York/Sports), Stuart Greenblatt (New York/Talk), and Jim Jones (Washington, DC/News). All four report to Dennis Green, SVP, Affiliate Sales.

“Nashville’s #1 Sports Station” 104.5 The Zone/WGFX-FM will expand its local sports coverage to an all-local, all-day format, kicking off Monday, January 15. The station also announced that it has re-signed on-air personalities Chad Withrow, Jonathon Hutton, and Paul Kuharsky.

iHeartMedia has promoted renowned programming veteran Doc Wynter to the new position of Executive Vice President of Urban/Hip-Hop Programming Strategy. He will report to Tom Poleman, Chief Programming Officer for iHeartMedia. Wynter has been with iHeart for 29 years.

James Kauffman, who was arrested this week, accused of killing his wife April Kauffman (pictured), has been moved to a jail 100 miles away after prosecutors said in court Thursday his co-defendant planned to kill him. Authorities believe Kauffman and co-defendant Augello Ferdinand killed the talk-show host to protect an illegal drug run they were involved in with the Pagans biker gang.

Dennis Gwiazdon has been named Market Manager of Beasley’s cluster of radio stations in Las Vegas. He replaces Tom Humm who's decided to pursue other interests. Gwiazdon most recently served as Market Manager for Midwest Communications & South Central Communications in Nashville.

On Thursday, SiriusXM announced a new agreement with CEO James Meyer. The deal will pay him $2 million per year and run through the end of this year. Meyer will also be eligible for a bonus if the company achieves certain performance goals. And he'll get a 3-year $6.6 million consulting deal with the company if he's fired. Here's more on that...

Millman has been upped to Vice President of Community Relations/Sales for The Ace & TJ Show and Radio Button Network. She has been with the show for more than three years, moving from Director of Operations to this newly created position.

The new weekly podcast from ESPN Audio is called Sports? with Katie Nolan. Nolan joined ESPN last October and appears across multiple ESPN platforms. She is a regular host of SportsCenter on Snapchat, and recently co-hosted a live Twitter show prior to the Titans vs. Chiefs NFL Wild Card game. She also contributed to the MegaCast for the College Football Playoff National Championship.

It's a new 24/7 channel for Barstool Radio on SiriusXM and it rolls out next Wednesday. The channel will feature a full schedule of live original Barstool programming every weekday, plus select content from Barstool's lineup of podcasts, including Pardon My Take, Laces Out, KFC Radio, I Am Rapaport, and others.
