As part of its previously announced agreements to sell its St. Louis stations, Emmis announced on Friday it has entered into definitive agreements to sell its St. Louis stations KSHE-FM and KPNT-FM to Hubbard Radio for $45 million, and KFTK-FM and KNOU-FM to Entercom for $15 million.

It appears KMOX has a new General Manager, although nobody at Entercom is saying anything about it. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch is reporting that John Sheehan is out as GM and former Emmis St. Louis Sales Manager Becky Domyan has taken over.

Last week, Alpha Media named Ernie Martinez National Director of Digital Content. Martinez has come a long way from his first gig in radio when he was 19 and a producer for Radio Disney. As the head of Alpha's Digital Division, Martinez is now responsible for the digital strategy for hundreds of Alpha's radio stations, and that includes finding ways to bring in digital revenue.

Cox Media Group Miami has named Jill Strada Director of Operations and Crystal Gans Integrated Sales Manager in Miami. Strada (left) will oversee WEDR, WFLC, WFEZ, and WHQT as well as marketing, promotions, and digital content. Gans will lead all sales strategies across multiple platforms. She was Digital Sales Manager.

Jacobs Media and the organizers of the Podcast Movement conference are expanding their relationship. For the upcoming 2018 convention in Philadelphia, July 23-26, Jacobs Media will be developing nine sessions over two days targeted at members of the radio industry.

The 50 radio station finalists have been announced for the 2018 NAB Crystal Radio Awards which will be handed out to 10 winners at the NAB Show in Las Vegas, April 10. Since 1987, the Crystal Awards have recognized stations for their outstanding year-round commitment to community service. Here are the finalists....

New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone will join Sports Radio WFAN in New York, the flagship station for the Yankees, every Thursday at 5:00 p.m. Boone will appear on WFAN’s PM drive show hosted by Chris Carlin, Maggie Gray, and Bart Scott. Boone will also be interviewed by Yankees announcer Suzyn Waldman during all pre-game shows throughout the season.

Westwood One News has produced Tax Tips, a 20-part series for affiliated stations, anchored by Westwood One News correspondent Ann Cates. The series will feature advice on an array of tax-related topics.

WTMJ News, Milwaukee, presents a Community Conversation on the safety of local schools following the Parkland, Florida, school shooting. The one-hour special will air this afternoon from 3 p.m.-4 p.m.

Another big career move for iHeart's syndicated Country host. Bones says he's joining American Idol, working with contestants to share advice on being an artist, dealing with media, posting on social media, remaining focused and being authentic. Bones said, "It's very exciting for me. I'm nervous that I'm not going to give good advice."
