Westwood One Sports’ Monday Night Football announcer Kevin Harlan is the 2017 National Sports Media Hall of Fame Sportscaster of the Year. Harlan joined CBS Sports in 1998 as an NFL play-by-play announcer, after working at Fox Sports. This is his 33rd consecutive season broadcasting the NFL and he's called 30 season's worth of NBA games.

WGN Radio will change its Sunday programming lineup this Sunday (Jan. 21) and debut The Karen Conti Show, hosted by Chicago attorney Karen Conti from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Conti has been a practicing lawyer in Chicago for over 30 years

Gold celebrates 20 years in sports radio this month. He landed in the Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill “Triangle” 20 years ago and was hired by then 850 The Buzz, the Triangle’s first all-sports radio station, to host afternoon drive.

New Seattle Soft Rock station 94.1 The Sound (KSWD-FM), announce longtime local on-air personality John Fisher as the new morning show host. The show, John Fisher, will debut on January 22 from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m PT. Fisher is a Seattle radio veteran.

The Tom Joyner Morning Show returned to the Atlanta market on Tuesday. The show can now be heard on Radio One's Classix 102.9 FM, “Atlanta’s Classic RnB” station. As part of Joyner returning, Mitch Faulkner joins Radio One Atlanta as the morning show producer as well as hosting his Classic RnB Show, Saturdays from 7:00 p.m. to midnight.

A Q&A titled Brad Paisley: The Art and The Artist, will take place Wednesday, Feb. 7, 3-4 p.m. at Country Radio Seminar 2018 in Nashville. RJ Curtis of All Access Nashville and Beverlee Brannigan of E.W. Scripps Co. will conduct the interview. 

Z95.5/Ithaca has named Mike Kerr “McCabe” as their new Brand Manager. Kerr is a recent graduate of Elmira College but has been doing radio for over seven years with on-air and programming roles in Elmira, Rochester, and Buffalo.

The Ace & TJ Show has promoted longtime show producer Rob Miller to the newly created role of Vice President of Affiliate Relations for the show. Miller has represented the show in its affiliate needs for production and technical support for over five years.
