Joyner Doesn’t Want to Retire

In an interview with the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Tom Joyner says he doesn't really want to leave radio but “I couldn’t get a guaranteed contract after two years.” Joyner is retiring at the end of 2019. Joyner has been in syndication for nearly 25 years, he's still on 95 stations and reaches 7.4 million listeners every week.

So far, about 275 companies nationwide have publicly announced they would be giving bonuses to employees this year, thanks to a tax cut politicians in Washington recently passed. PodcastOne is jumping on the bonus bandwagon. PodcastOne Founder Norman Pattiz announced Tuesday that all full-time employees will be getting a $1,000 cash bonus.
