Cox Media Group Tulsa Market Vice President Cathy Gunther announced on Thursday that Nate Reed has been named Operations Manager for that market. Reed moves into the job from his position as Director of Branding and Programming at CMG Tulsa’s Hot AC KRAV/Mix 96.5.

On Thursday, Univision reported total radio revenue of $79 million for the fourth quarter of 2017. That's an increase of 8.5% over 2016. However, advertising revenue for the radio segment decreased 5.5% to $63.4 million from $67.1 in Q4.

Ryan Maguire is the new PD for Bonneville's powerhouse News/Talker KIRO Radio in Seattle. Maguire has spent many years in the sports format and makes the move to Seattle from Entercom's WQAM in Miami where he's been PD since 2015. KIRO has been without a PD since Pete Gammell left the station in December.

In a new partnership announced this week, AXS–TV and KMG Networks, a division of Krantz Media Group, will bring The Big Interview with Dan Rather to  stations throughout the U.S. Ad sales will be handled by Westwood One.

Starting soon, Alisa Chang will host All Things Considered along with Audie Cornish, Mary Louise Kelly, and Ari Shapiro; and Noel King will join David Greene, Steve Inskeep, and Rachel Martin as the fourth host of Morning Edition and the Up First podcast. King and Chang will continue their enterprise reporting on Planet Money.

The agreement includes broadcasting rights of University of Miami Hurricanes baseball and ancillary baseball programming on Entercom’s AM 790 The Ticket (WAXY-AM) in Miami beginning with the 2018 season.

Chattanooga radio veteran Randy Smith, known as “Boner,” will be rejoining Entercom station Rock 105 (WRXR-FM) as afternoon show host. The new show Boner in the Afternoon will air weekdays from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m ET.

Los Angeles Rock radio station 95.5 KLOS, led by Frosty, Heidi & Frank in the morning, Marci Wiser and Steve Jones (Jonesy’s Jukebox) in middays, and Gary Moore in afternoon drive, raised $725,218 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in the St. Jude Rocks event held Thursday, February 8, through Friday, February 9, 2018.
