It's called Broadcasting Hope, an industry-wide campaign with a goal of reaching broadcasters and letting them know that if they are in acute need they can apply for aid from the Broadcasters Foundation. The new campaign will run in radio and TV trade publications beginning this week.

The National Association of Black Owned Broadcasters has created a new campaign called Use Your Power. The campaign is directed at the listeners of NABOB member and African American-targeted radio stations.

Music dealmaker and talent manager Irving Azoff will host a new show on SiriusXM's Volume channel. Called Unmanageable, Azoff will host conversations with influential people in the music business, discussing music's past, present, and future.

DreX and Nina, a new morning show on B96, WBBM-FM/Chicago, will air weekdays from 5:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. PT. Gabe Ramirez, host of the previous B96 morning show, The J Show, will continue as morning host along with DreX and Nina.

Radio station 95.9 The Fox (WFOX/Stamford-Norwalk), has upped Allan Lamberti to morning show host. Lamberti has worked for or with sister stations of The Fox since 2003. He has had a variety of roles within the organization and was recently hosting afternoon drive.

Grammy Award-winning country music star Trisha Yearwood will launch her new weekly SiriusXM show Trisha's Take Five on Monday, April 2. Trisha's Take Five will air Mondays at 5:00 p.m. ET on The Garth Channel, SiriusXM channel 55, and through the SiriusXM app.

The online sports industry will be explored in a new conference titled “eSports: Get in on the Action” on Wednesday, April 11, as part of the 2018 NAB Show in Las Vegas. The conference, which is produced in partnership with the eSports Ad Bureau, comprises six sessions.

Pete Mundo has been appointed APD and morning host for News Talk 103.7-710 KCMO in Kansas City. Mundo started his radio career at KWOX/KMZE in Woodward, OK, and was ultimately named News and Sports Director for the stations. He also worked in New York City at WCBS-AM, CBS Sports Radio, and WFAN-AM/FM as a freelance anchor and host.
