Radio Ink Publisher Deborah Parenti was in New York City this past week and stopped by the WABC studios to say hello. Here our boss is pictured with new WABC morning show co-host Sid Rosenberg. Sid starts hosting mornings this week with Bernard McGuirk. Sid and Bernie are taking over for Don Imus who's last show was last week.

It's been years in the making. The Bubba The Love Sponge ratings tampering case in Tampa was scheduled to begin today. However, we were told Monday morning the trial has been delayed and there is no start date scheduled.

Sierra Automated Systems will honor NAB Hall of Fame inductee Elvis Duran at a special event on the NAB Show floor on Monday, April 9. During the event SAS Owners Ed Fritz and Al Salci will personally present Duran with the first of its kind gold "Hall of Fame" edition iSL console prior to his induction into the NAB Hall of Fame that evening.

Broadcast veteran Larry Wilson, host of the popular Livin’ Large with Larry, takes over mornings on WPLL I Am Country 106.9 (Gainsville-Ocala), starting Monday, April 2. The show will air weekdays from 6 to 9 a.m.

(Bob McCurdy) The headlines this past week regarding the state of digital metrics were as positive for that industry as the Stormy Daniels headlines have been for Trump. I've included several here and added my comments to each.

Klein was scheduled to start hosting mornings on Entercom's 97.3 The Game in San Diego Thursday morning. That didn't happened and Entercom is not saying why, or if, that will ever happen.

After 40 years at KSL Newsradio 102.7 FM/1160 AM/Salt Lake City, Doug Wright has announced he will be stepping back from five-days-a-week on-air hosting duties on June 1. He will continue at the station as a special news consultant and correspondent, and hosting the popular and long-running KSL Movie Show.

Caleb Williams joins The Family Radio Network as Assistant Program Director. Born and raised in Chicagoland, he has grown up listening to and working with some of the best radio personalities in the third-largest market in America.

And all were caught operating illegal radio stations from their homes. These latest pirates are Angel Rigoberto Pinzon in Ossining, New York, on 90.5; Jean Claude Michel in Brooklyn, at 90.9; Jerome Moultrie in Miami, at 90.1; and Freddie Rodriguez in Fayetteville, North Carolina, operating on 87.9. All were given 10 days to respond to the FCC.
