ESPN senior writer Mina Kimes has agreed to a multiyear extension with ESPN, and will debut an NFL-themed podcast – Bootleg with Mina Kimes – which is now available everywhere ESPN Audio podcasts are accessible. Kimes, who joined ESPN in May 2014, will continue to write for ESPN The Magazine, as well as maintain a presence across a variety of other programming. Prior to ESPN, Kimes was an investigative reporter for Bloomberg News (2013) and a business writer for Fortune Magazine (2007-13), where she penned pieces on topics from arms exports to tainted drugs. A two-time finalist for the Dan Jenkins Medal for Excellence in Sportswriting, Kimes also earned numerous awards for business and investigative journalism.

“Mina is an exceptional talent, whose storytelling transcends sports,” said Alison Overholt, Editor-In-Chief and VP, ESPN The Magazine, espnW, and The ESPYS. “She boasts an unbeatable hat trick of witty intelligence, sly humor, and masterful narrative instincts that make her a compelling voice on television, radio, and on the printed page or screen. Mina is a star in the making.”
