iHeartMedia has announced the lineup for the second annual iHeartRadio ALTer Ego. The alt rock show will take place at the Forum in Los Angeles on January 19, 2019. The lineup will include Twenty One Pilots, The Killers, Muse, Weezer, Rise Against, Bishop Briggs, and The Revivalists.

MoneyTalk host Bob Brinker has decided to step away from radio. Brinker will continue to write and publish his investment newsletter Marketimer. He says it's time for him to “take his weekends back and enjoy Sundays with his family.” Westwood One has been syndicating the show.

Andy Alcosser is the D.O.S. for Connoisseur Media in Milford, CT. Tony Bellantoni is a senior AE in the cluster. Andy and Tony introduced us to Bill Keough from Keough’s Paint & Hardware, which has two locations in Connecticut. It's a family-owned business, started in 1972 by Bill’s mom and dad. (By Bob McCurdy) I ran into a New York ad agency CEO at the airport last week on my way to the Radio Show. Coincidentally, he was on his way to Orlando to meet with a client. As the weather would have it, we were delayed four hours and had plenty of time to discuss radio and advertising. Clearly, there are still some ghosts in the system.
