His real name is Billy Cova, but on-air it’s just “Cova” — and now he’s been named the new evening host, 7 p.m.-Midnight, for market-leading Top 40 station WJFX (HOT 1079) in Fort Wayne, IN. Cova was previously the night host at Entercom’s WDZH (then-98.7 AMP Radio) in Detroit.
HOT 1079 Brand Manager Robbie Mack said, “We received a lot of great submissions for nights. There were some really solid candidates out there, but Cova’s personality and experience stood out. He’s a naturally funny and entertaining guy and he’s just what we need to stay on top at night.”
