Researcher Mark Ramsey has announced a new division of his company, Mark Ramsey Media, built specifically to serve the needs of Christian broadcasters, both commercial and non-commercial.

Mica Cadena has been moved up from “Acting” to “Official” Program Director of Active Rock WXQR (Rock 105.5) at Dick Broadcasting's Greenville-New Bern-Jacksonville cluster. Cadena is better known to listeners as L.A. Rocks.

Johnson has joined 93.1 The Lake as PD and morning show host, going on-air January 2, 2019 at 6 a.m. He has spent most of his 40-year radio career in the Columbia market.

On Monday, iHeart announced some good news regarding its bankruptcy proceeding. The company says it has received overwhelming creditor support for its plan to reorganize. iHeart filed for chapter 11 protection back in March and is expected to emerge in 2019 with 50% less debt, knocking off $10 billion.

For the third week running, the big-box home improvement giant has topped the Media Monitors list for radio advertisers. Last week, the company ran 41,207 spots nationwide, just edging out familiar rival GEICO with 41,025.
