77-year-old Harry Hamm was charged with second-degree statutory sodomy, incest, and possession of child pornography. Hamm is the entertainment editor at Entercom’s KMOX in St. Louis and has been with the station since 1975. What follows in this story are very disturbing allegations.
Court documents say Hamm had sexual intercourse with a relative younger than 17. Police say the relative came to them and reported the alleged sexual abuse. Police then picked up Hamm where they say he confessed to the allegations. Authorities also found six pictures of girls on Hamm’s phone who appear to be younger than 8 and were partially or entirely naked.
A spokeswoman for Entercom told Radio Ink on Sunday: “We have just learned of the troubling allegations against Harry Hamm. We take these matters very seriously and have placed him on immediate leave as we investigate. We do not have any further comment at this moment.”
