What Happened To Chris Wegmann?
Entercom announced on Wednesday that Kevin Cassidy (pictured) is the new Market Manager for Entercom New Orleans, replacing Chris Wegmann. Wegmann, a New Orleans Native, came over to Entercom in August of 2017 to replace Chris Claus who retired.
Swanson Out Already. Hammer Takes Over.
That was quick, Jack. Cumulus announced that the recently hired Jack Swanson would rather be on the beach than programming KGO and KSFO in San Francisco. Swanson was back for a month before leaving again. He programmed KGO and KSFO from 1994 to 2011.
Two New Shows Out Colorado Way
Making its debut Wednesday, November 7, was the Heckuva Show with Michael Brown, which will broadcast weeknights from 7-8 on KOA NewsRadio in Denver. In addition, the new Caplis and Kafer show airs afternoons on TalkRadio 630 KNOW from 4-7.
Carton Found Guilty. Says He’ll Appeal.
On Wednesday, Former WFAN morning show co-host Craig Carton was convicted of running a Ponzi scheme. Jurors reached their decision after five hours of deliberations. The disgraced 49-year-old former WFAN morning show co-host faces up to 45 years in prison when he's sentenced February 27. His lawyers say they'll appeal the verdict.

Salem Broadcast Revenue Up 2%
