Chester Pulliam Passes


Chester was an Arkansas radio legend who will be missed by his many fans, who knew him as Chester P. He passed away April 16, 2019, and was a staple on Northwest Arkansas radio for over 20 years. He hosted mornings on Classic Rock KIGL 93.3 The Eagle for iHeartRadio. Chester P. had over 30 years in broadcast and over 50 years in the music industry.

iHeartMedia said in a statement, “We are all so very sad to bring the news to everyone about the passing of our friend, brother, and co-worker Chester P. He passed away on April 16th after a long and difficult battle with illness. He was an amazing person who was absolutely one of the best guys you’d ever meet and will be missed.”

Chester P.’s career in broadcasting began on April 16, 1985. He moved to Northwest Arkansas 10 years later on April 16, 1995. He signed off and left a legacy behind on April 16, 2019.
