The company held 50 Earth Day events nationwide, with 3,000 employee volunteers, as part of its 1Thing Sustainability Initiative. The program marks the largest coordinated Earth Day volunteer initiative Entercom has ever conducted. The largest event was held in Philadelphia, where more than 150 Entercom representatives took part.

“Entercom has a long-standing commitment to sustainability and helping the environment. Our 1Thing program has been a cornerstone of our work to be a socially responsible corporate citizen, making the world a better place,” said David Field, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, Entercom. “Today, more than 3,000 members of the Entercom team will be leaving the office and heading out to work on projects all across the country in every market we serve.”

The volunteers participated in local environmental service projects, including tree planting, park and waterway cleanups, recycling projects, and habitat restoration, among others.
