Pinfield Quits Mornings at KFOG

After just over a year as the morning host on San Francisco rocker KFOG, Matt Pinfield will turn over the morning mic to focus on his two nationally syndicated radio shows, the weekly rock history show, “Flashback” and the nightly show, “Two Hours”. Both programs are syndicated by Westwood One. Cumulus did not announce Pinfield's replacement.

Paul Rogers has been named Area President for the Capitol Coast, which includes 4 stations in Tallahassee and five in Panama City. He'll keep some of his previous responsibilities as VP of Strategic Partnerships for the Florida Region and report to Linda Byrd, President of iHeartMedia’s North Florida Region.

Pandora Sells Tickeyfly For $200 Million

And it's taking a bath on the deal. It was back in late 2015 that Pandora purchased the ticket selling business for $450 million. On Friday the company announced it was selling Ticketfly to Eventbrite for $200 million. The deal will be funded through a combination of $150 million cash and a $50 million note payable to Pandora.

K-FROG 95.1/Riverside has promoted Robin Ward to Music Director/Assistant Program Director. She will also host the midday timeslot as her on-air persona Heather Froglear, weekdays at 9 a.m. Ward joined K-FROG in 1993 and has served as Promotions Director and morning show host.
