Jay West has joined Max Media’s on-air staff on 92.9 The WAVE in Virginia Beach, VA, as afternoon host. West has been on the radio in Hampton Roads weekday afternoons since the mid-90s.
Lazer Moves All Stations To Gen Media Partners
Lazer Broadcasting has expanded its national ad sales relationship with Gen Media Partners by moving all of its 43 Spanish-language radio stations to Gen. The company was already representing Lazer stations in seven markets. The expanded deal adds 26 more stations.
The Keg Flips
NRG Media in Omaha has flipped KOOO-FM 101.9 The Keg from Classic Rock to Adult Hits. The company is making the change after adding longtime programmer Jay Michaels.
iHeart Picks Up The Pete & Sebastian Pod
The Pete and Sebastian Show is moving over to the iHeartPodcast Network, with new episodes airing in February. Sebastian Maniscalco and Pete Correale are best friends and comedians.
Bourbon Podcast Launching Friday
KMG Utopia Studios, a division of Krantz Media Group, announced that bourbon expert Fred Minnick will launch The Fred Minnick Show on January 17. The show will feature music artists talking bourbon, music, and other topics.
