iHeart’s New Reporting Structure
Before its Q4 earnings call Thursday iHeart announced a new operating structure under which its Digital Audio Group business, which includes iHeartRadio and podcasting, will now report its financials separately from the Multiplatform Group business, which includes radio.
Bongino Hits 100
Westwood One’s Dan Bongino Show is now heard on over 100 stations, with the latest affiliate KSVL-FM in Reno putting Bongino at the 100 mark. The Conservative talker, a former Secret Service Agent, launched in March 2020. He also served as a NYPD officer from 1995 to 1999.
HD3 in New York To Air Shannon Show
Entercom has added Scott Shannon’s “True Oldies Channel” on WCBS-FM HD3 in New York. The program is hosted by WCBS-FM's radio legend Scott Shannon. It features music from the 60s, 70s and 80s.

The LA Based Sound That Brands podcasting studio has formed a partnership with Comcast’s FreeWheel. The agreement will give FreeWheel’s Strata agencies access to Sound That Brands production services.

Quiet Storm Host Tony Brown Dead at 75
Tony Brown had been part of WDAS-FM in Philadelphia for over 45 years before retiring in 2018 for health reasons. Brown died Wednesday. The station will be paying tribute to Brown all day today.
