Emmis Communications, 93.5FM & 107.5FM, The Fan has promoted three. The changes are the result of the move of Jeff Rickard to Boston to Program WEEI-FM.

IBA members will have an opportunity to hear from former Entercom executive Michael Doyle who launched his own company called The Sales MD.The IBA is hosting a webinar with Doyle Thursday at 4PM. For over 10 years Doyle led sales training for Entercom.

The Massachusetts Broadcasters Hall of Fame luncheon has been postponed. Officials say vaccination numbers in the Bay State are good, but it felt an increasing number of attendees would not be comfortable in the luncheon setting.

Rachel Vigil has joined 104.3 The Fan (KKFN-FM) as the station’s new digital host/producer. Along with taking care of social media and web work, she will  make regular appearances on air.

Red Table Talk has signed a new deal with iHeartMedia to launch the Red Table Talk Audio Network. The newly formed network will launch five new series over the next two years.

WLS-AM in Chicago has moved Mallory Vor Broker to the position of reporter for 890 WLS-AM. Vor Broker will cover Chicago City Hall and the political beat. She takes over for Bill Cameron who retired on August 20th after a 51-year career.

CBS This Morning aired a feature on WCCO Minnesota weekend host Shelleta Brundidge. The reason for the feature was because Brundidge's son, who recently turned 15, did not ask for a new phone or an Xbox for his birthday. He asked his mom to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
