According to a new report released today from The Center for Sales Strategy, the hardest part of a sales managers job is recruiting new talent. CSS conducted two online surveys in Q4 of 2022 which included just under 300 sales managers and account executives.

PodPros has launched new software for podcasters called PodLottery. The company says the free software will help podcasters "win integrity-based Apple reviews for their podcasts from other podcasters in a daily lottery-style drawing."

Forcht Broadcasting's Somerset, Kentucky adult contemporary station WYKY (106.1 FM) presented the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Walk along with the City of Somerset on Monday. The station provided reflective, soulful music as the soundtrack for the walk, with music piped in through speakers in downtown.

Townsquare Media's WKXW (101.5 FM) in Trenton collected more than 1,000 stuffed bears as part of the annual "Feel Better Bears" holiday campaign. The bears were collected for a state police union, and will be distributed to children in situations of crisis.

Suzanne Carroll has been named the General Sales Manager at Beasley Media Group's 5-station Charlotte cluster. Carroll joins Beasley from Audacy Corporate, where she worked on the sales acceleration team.

Bruce Avery, the former general manager of Hofstra University's WRHU (88.7 FM) in Hempsted, New York, died Saturday at the age of 69 after a lengthy illness. Avery retired in August 2022 after spending 28 years as the general manager of WRHU.

Salem Media Group announced today that The Chris Stigall Podcast has officially joined the Salem Podcast Network. The podcast will continue to release one episode each weekday.
