The Colorado Broadcasters Association held its annual Awards of Excellence Gala on April 22nd to recognize Colorado’s best broadcasters and their work in 2022. More than 400 radio and television broadcasters gathered at the Ritz Carlton Denver for the event. 511 radio entries were received this year between the small, medium, major, and metro market categories. Three Eagles Communications President and COO Gary Buchanon was recognized with The Rex Howell Broadcaster of the Year Award.
The CBA’s Stations of the Year are:
- Small Market: KBVC/Buena Vista
- Medium Market: KYSL/Frisco
- Major Market: KKPL/Fort Collins
- Metro Market: KCFR/Denver
