Benztown has launched the industry's first contemporary Christian audio imaging library for stations with that and similar formats, hosted on Benztown's audio image platform. The new library is available to contemporary Christian music stations on a market-exclusive basis, either for barter or cash.

Liberated Syndication (Libsyn) has unveiled the beta version of its new all-in-one podcast creator and advertising platform called Libsyn Connect. The platform is a browser-based collaboration tool that helps creators produce high-quality recordings remotely.

iHeartMedia and Facebook parent company Meta Platforms are teaming up to produce a virtual reality concert. The show, J Balvin Futurum: A VR Concert Experience, will debut on Meta's virtual reality platform Horizon Worlds on February 17 at 9 p.m. Eastern Time.

iHeartMedia has appointed Pedro Escalera, also known as Pedro Al Aire, to the role of program director at KZEP (104.5 FM) in San Antonio. He will report to Jason McCollim, the senior vice president of programming for iHeartMedia in San Antonio and Austin.

WBUR (90.9 FM) in Boston and the Marshall Project have teamed up for a new podcast that explores a teenager's murder conviction, release from incarceration and return to prison. Segments from the show, Violation, will start running on WBUR's Here & Now program on-air and online.

Nick Cannon took over mornings at Meruelo Media's Power 106 in Los Angeles in June of 2019. He then partnered with Skyview Networks to launch into syndication in early 2020. A report out Wednesday, confirmed by Skyview, states that the show has come to an end.

Chris "Mad Dog" Russo will reunite with his WFAN (660 AM) counterpart Mike Francesca during a special broadcast of ESPN's First Take on Wednesday, February 1. The reunion will span the entire two-hour period, which starts at 10 a.m. Eastern Time.

iHeartMedia has appointed Spencer Bynes to Metro President for its Atlanta cluster. Bynes moves to Atlanta from iHeart's Texas region, where he served as the Area President since 2021. He'll report to Division President Kim Guthrie.

The NAB Show is now accepting entries for the newly-launched Excellence in Sustainability Awards, which recognizes individuals, companies and products that show in media and technology in the area of conservation, reusability of natural resources and economic and social development. The deadline for entry is April 3.
