The Ace & TJ Show marked its 25th anniversary on Charlotte, NC airwaves on Tuesday. They started on WHQC, before moving to Beasley Media Group’s Kiss 95.1 (WNKS) and are syndicated across the southeast. They were one of the first syndicated shows to offer both a live stream and on-demand content.

The Carolina Hurricanes have agreed to extend their partnership with Capitol Broadcasting Company's 99.9 FM The Fan (WCMC) as the flagship station of the Hurricanes Radio Network. The new contract lasts for three years, until the end of the 2025-26 NHL season.

The RAB's "Radio Works" initiative continues with a webinar for sellers titled "Radio Works for Education." The session will feature a panel discussion on how radio drives traffic for education websites. The webinar is scheduled for April 19 at 1p ET.

Kent State's WKSU-FM, a non-commercial public radio station in Cleveland, Ohio, had a signal problem. The operator, Ideastream Public Media, had consolidated NPR signals and that left some in the metro outside of the broadcast area.

The Radio Mercury Awards has extended its entry deadline from April 10 until April 24, with credits due on April 28. The eligibility air period for entries now runs from January 1, 2022, to April 24, 2023. Guidelines for broadcast and non-broadcast radio are provided on the RMA site.

Twitter's "blue check" fight just hit a new level. On Tuesday night, Twitter labeled National Public Radio's account as US state-affiliated media, lumping it in with propaganda networks like Russia's RT and China’s Xinhua News Agency. NPR previously had been made an exception.
