KRNH Employee Killed
The station in Kerrville, Texas, which is about 65 miles from San Antonio, is owned by the Ranch Radio Group. Police say 52-year-old KRNH employee Sherry Ruth Francis was killed in a random act of violence in the station parking lot.

Beasley Grabs Another Florida Translator
Bob Heymann of the Chicago office of Media Services Group fills us in on the details. Beasley is purchasing the construction permit for FM translator W276CX New Port Richey (Tampa), Florida, from Cornerstone Community Radio, a Florida not-for-profit corporation, for $125,000. No word yet on what the company plans to broadcast on the translator.
