On Thursday, Nielsen released a chart to show how important the News Radio format was in 2016 leading up to the Presidential election. In 2012, News Radio audience levels spiked during that election year, and 2016 proved to be no different.

The Hispanic-focused broadcaster reported total revenue for its radio division of $72.8 million in Q4 of 2016, compared to $72.1 million a year earlier. If you back out political, radio would have decreased 3.6% to $66.8 million from $69.3 million. Univision owns 67 radio stations in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.

Cumulus has again extended the early tender date for its private exchange offer for all 7.75% senior notes due 2019. The last old date was February 13. The new date is March 6. The previous deadline was January 23 and there were two others before that.
