Podcast technology company ART19 has closed a $7.5 million Series A round led by Bertelsmann Digital Media Investments and DCM Ventures. ART19 provides podcast hosting, distribution, and ad serving technology. The company says some of its customers include: Midroll Media, iHeartMedia, VOX Media and The New York Times. The ART19 platform also provides tools that use ad targeting and measurement to help agencies and brands leverage the medium and its audiences.
