The Radio Show kicks off Tuesday, September 5 in Austin, and if you’re attending, you’ll notice in-vehicle demonstrations in the Radio Show Marketplace. A 2017 Ford Fusion will be on display demonstrating the top three solutions for linking a driver’s smartphone to the dash. These include: SmartDeviceLink, a neutral platform that works for all top smartphone models; CarPlay, Apple’s link for iPhones; and Android Auto, Google’s link for Android phones.
“These demonstrations will showcase the range of entertainment options available in vehicles today and provide insight on what’s being developed for the future,” said NAB Executive Vice President of Radio John David. “Attendees will also learn the role the SmartDeviceLink technology plays in maintaining radio’s presence and accessibility in the car.”
