Attorney Jack Goodman, who was at one time general counsel for the NAB, says there are several reasons why political advertisers, broadcasters and the FCC should worry about the $540,000 fine recently handed down by the FCC on Cumulus. Sun Scoops Up House Of Hair

Sun Broadcast Group has entered into a purchase agreement with Bernadette Productions, producer of “The House of Hair with Dee Snider” radio show and daily vignettes. Pam Edwards, owner of Bernadette Productions, has put in 20 years of hard work for the show and Sun has asked Edwards to remain a stakeholder in the new venture. The show, which the former frontman for Twisted Sister still hosts, has over 160 affiliates.

It's called "97.5 Pride Radio" and iHeartMedia says it will be the pulse of LGBT Austin. 97.5 Pride Radio is iHeartMedia’s second FM radio station in the country with programming devoted to local Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) listeners and allies. The station is being launched on a new translator and not replacing any format iHeart currently has in the market.

The number one takeaway that comes out of my trip to CES is the reinforcement of the theme of innovation. Everywhere you look, touch, and smell at the event evokes this notion. The event has an optimistic edge unlike anything I have ever felt before at any event.
