Digital Revenue For Radio Hits $700 Million in 2017

That's according to a new report released by the Radio Advertising Bureau and Borrell & Associates. The $700 Million figure is 13.4% higher than 2016. Radio's overall revenue has been hovering at about $17 Billion per year. The report shows that digital ad revenue now accounts for 7.5% of the average station’s ad revenues, up from 6.3% last year.

A new streaming study was released at the Country Radio Seminar, Wednesday. And, there was a lot of good news for radio. The survey involved a wide group of audio listeners in the United States (ages 18-54) and focused on those who listen to country music at least once per month and those that use either a free or paid streaming service.
